MALIBU FAMILY WINES

Here's a secret for all you fellow wine lovers.....there is an amazing vineyard and tasting room nestled in the hills between Malibu and Westlake Village, Malibu Family Wines. Us Westlake girls absolutely love this place! There is nothing better than packing a picnic and heading down Kanan Rd. to this serene little hideaway with friends for some tasty wine and music. During the spring/summer, there is live music on Saturday's and Sunday's for you enjoy and rock out to. We also love to bring cards or booce ball and hang out all day, especially when the weather is nice and warm. There are a bunch of tables and Adirondack chairs to relax on while you enjoy a glass of vino or two..or three. I love wearing one of my Gypsy05 Tube dresses or the Blue Life Shag Me Tunic with jean shorts to get some sun on my arms and legs. And don't forget your Minnie Rose Fringe Shawl for when it gets a little chilly at night.

I am personally a wine club member and it's very inexpensive and fun to try all the new wines that are offered exclusively to members. My fave.....the 2008 Saddlerock Rose. So yummy to sip on a warm summer's night!!!! I can't wait until the weather really heats up and head down there on a Saturday afternoon. But get there early on Friday and Saturday nights when the winery is open until 9pm, it gets packed! Maybe bring a few extra beach chairs and blankets just in case you have to lounge on the grass.
