Okay, its Monday! Time for what has become my weekly recap of the weekend. This weeks theme? Halloween! Yesterday, my friend Nicole hosted a Halloween party that got us all into the Halloween spirit. Nicole was dressed as an adorable pirate wench. Our hostess served holiday inspired appetizers like mushroom eyeballs, carrot fingers, bloody punch with wormy icecubes, and miniature monster faced bagel pizzas.
If you're thinking about hosting your own halloween party this week, there are tons of great recipe ideas out there. Make it a potluck and designate each course to a few of your friends but,
kee
p the dessert duties in your hands. There is nothing cuter than these deliciously decorated cupcakes from crumbs bakeshop (right next door to Planet Blue kids in the Malibu Lumber Yard!)
Turn your party into a costume contest and look no further for your outfit than Planet Blue!
A few costume ideas from great pieces we have in stock: The Rocker Chick--black RockStar Jeans & the new Cynthia Vincent vest would instantly put the look together. A Hippie: a Gypsy-05 dress, love heals necklaces and the Goddess of Babylon Vest! Old Hollywood Glamor Girl: the new pale pink 12th street flounce dress with some Nola jewels just screams classic Marilyn. Just add a blond wig! A Flapper: Re collection fringe dress and just add pearls and a feather!

Lastly, choose some earthy fall essentials, like pumpkins and leaves, and keep your place decorated all season!
I still dont know what I'm going to be this year! Have any ideas for me? Let me know!
Happy Halloween!
