Planet Blue is hosting a canned food drive today, Thursday Dec16, from 5-8pm, to help the Los Angeles Regional Foodbank. This is a great chance to make a difference in our community. I encourage you to join us in our efforts to help those less fortunate. A very special guest, the talented Audra Mae will be raising her voice against hunger. Join Audra as she gives the gift of music and let her soulful set serenade and entertain you as we come together in an effort to help end this epidemic. One in seven local residents face hunger and children and seniors are hit the hardest. Our support allows the Foodbank to secure and distribute nutritious food and non-perishable items. Together we can make a difference. Much needed items include: canned protein such as tuna, sardines, stew, soups, peanut butter & jelly, canned fruits & vegetables, fruit juices, staples such as beans, rice, pasta, diapers, personal care items including lotion, deodorant, and toothpaste.
