They've been disappointing all season, but they can make it up to me with two wins; The one tonight against Lon Kruger (UNLV), and then against Bill Self in the next round (Kansas).
Of course, they're favored to lose tonight, but I remain hopeful.* It's a disease, really. I think it comes from a lifetime of rooting for the Cubs and the Illini.
*By the way, "hopeful" is not the same as "blind." I picked them to lose in my NCAA pool.
