Planet Blue does not just celebrate Mexico on Cinco De Mayo, but all year round. This colorful, rich culture has become a part of our life through our clothing, food, decor and almost every vacation we can get. Sadly, some of our employees have even left us to live down there---well, it isn't too sad, because now we have a place to stay when we visit! Here is a little glimpse of Mexico through the eyes of Planet Blue girls...
Lil Jess & Jordan moved from Malibu down to Playa Del Carmen. Jess has been working on her jewelry line, Born Gypsy and Jordan teaches English. I just visited them a week ago and cannot tell you how jealous I am. A few pics from my trip...
The freshest Ahi. Everyone makes fun of me for all my food pics, but I swear Playa Del Carmen has some of the best tasting and looking food ever!
Beautiful Jordy.
Jen Rossi also just took a trip down to Mex. She visited Sayulita where she shot some pics of her newest Jen's Pirate Booty collection.
Also, she was able to capture some pics of the hand dying process which is all done in Mexico. See the whole process on the Jen's Pirate Booty facebook page.
"Every piece of gauze in the Jen's Pirate Booty collection is hand dyed, using all natural dyes, in clay pots over wood burning stoves. Then hung to dry on a line, in the Mexican sunlight. This is a family trade that has been passed down through many generations and Jen from Jen's Pirate Booty is very grateful to be using it for her products. This special process helps keep every piece unique in it's own way." - Jen Rossi
If you have never been to Sayulita, here are some pics of our favorite locals, Le Gazelles...

And some more fun pics from Jen Rossi's past trips...
