Actor Tim Robbins Gets Hollywood Star - "City Of Ember" Movie Trailer

Tim Robbins, known for writing and directing "Dead Man Walking", and his award winning roles in such films as "Mystic River", "The Shawshank Redemption" and "The Hudsucker Proxy", received his coveted star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame last week.

Robbins told reporters, "I used to take the bus from here to Burbank to go to work," he recalled. "When the bus was late, I would walk up and down and throw my cigarettes down. Now I have the honor of having this done to my star."

Attending the ceremony with Tim was his longtime life-partner Susan Sarandon, who picked up a Best Actress Academy Award for her role in "Dead Man Walking".

Robbins is currently directing and producing the made-for-television movie "Possible Side Effects", a TV drama that revolves around a family that runs a pharmaceutical company.

The actor can also be seen in the just released family adventure fantasy "City Of Ember" with Bill Murray. The film tells the story about the people of the underground 'City of Ember', who have prospered in a wonderful world of glittering lights. But the city's once mighty generator is failing, and the enormous lamps that light up the city are starting to fade.

Bill Murray And Dan Aykroyd To Star In "Ghost Busters 3" Sequel

Columbia Pictures has announced it is moving forward with a "Ghost Busters" sequel, and is in negotiations to reunite the original cast of Dan Aykroyd, Bill Murray, Harold Ramis, Ernie Hudson and Sigourney Weaver, in what is being called "Ghost Busters III."

The original idea for a "Ghost Busters 3" movie was led by original cast member Dan Aykroyd, who has already developed the screenplay and has been pushing producers for a sequel for the last two years.

The first "Ghostbusters" film was the highest grossing film for Columbia before being dethroned by Tommy Lee Jones and Will Smith in the smash hit "Men in Black". The original "Ghost Busters" was nominated for an Oscar, Grammy and Golden Globe Awards, and has grossed over a billion dollars worldwide including toys and DVD sales.

Columbia Pictures has already hired two writers to develop the script for the third sequel, Lee Eisenberg and his partner Gene Stupnitsky. Both writers currently work on the hit series "The Office" with Steve Carrel and Rainn Wilson.

Stupnitsky is currently directing the Harold Ramis written and directed comedy "Year One" starring Jack Black and Michael Cera, the story about two lazy hunter-gatherers (Black and Cera) who are banished from their primitive village and set off on an epic journey through the ancient world.

The original Ghostbusters cast of Dan Aykroyd, Bill Murray, Harold Ramis, and Sigourney Weaver are expected to officially join the project once the studio approves the script. Rick Moranis, who played the original "Key Master", has retired from acting, and it was unsure if the players could convince him to make an appearance in "Ghost Busters 3".
